Thats nothin.
I once saw this girl Daisy shoot 5 shots with a revolver, and they were all in the same hole. Most folks would have thought she only hit the target one time, but her cousins Bo and Luke told me that she never missed, and all 5 shots went through the same hole. |

In before "5-shot groups don't mean shit."
That's some fantastic shooting. How I'd love to get my greasy mitts on an OBR |
|
I might, maybe, if I'm lucky, do that with a good rifle and good glass. Without magnification, forget it. |

What kind of gun are you shooting? Can you be more specific No, they can't. If you aren't "in", then you are out. You aren't one of the cool kids, so you aren't allowed to play in their tree house or know the code. |

That would be pretty good if it were done in competition and witnessed by some third party. I've seen enough groups on the interweb to know that sometimes folks fudge on the distance. This is pretty light on details. Just saying.

SR-25 will do that. I don't know that I would call that a "Battle Rifle" though.

I'm not that impressed. I saw some actor on TV, who I'm pretty sure doesn't know shit about guns, do better than that.

In the category of I hate myself for selling a rifle...
I had a pre-ban HK 91, PSG1 trigger group, PSG1 stock, Swarovski scope that shot nearly that well. It was an exceptional rifle, what Winchester used to refer to one in one thousand. All the pieces parts were exceptional to get such accuracy! Definitely an atypical model 91. Just before the ban I had some major financial issues and had to sell it. To this very day I regret selling that rifle!!! However... at the top of my list is an OBR once my money issues are fixed. I have a feeling after that... I will no longer miss that HK 91. As indicated below... | | | \/ |

Great shooting and great performance by the rifle and ammo.
Well done. |

I don't know about the shot groups I could make. But that rifle is BAD ASS!

My FAL does that with Indian ammo. So does my wasr-10... while bump firing... from the hip... with corrosive 7.62x39 |

Because one of LTs competitors already uses the name "OSR" I believe the competitor is Swanny but I can't remember right. ETA: snoopaloop beat me by 2 seconds |

Larue tells his gun what grouping to make then the gun does it out of fear and intimidation.

Does it have battle rifle resilience in all sort of environments?
7.62x51 does not a battle rifle make. |

Seeing this fine rifle makes me think that if I was invited to a wedding where the groom and bride were both shooters, this thing would be the Optimized Wedding Gift.

The question is:
"Can I get one in the 'battle worn' look or do I have to throw it down my driveway, and if I have to throw it down my driveway will I still get groups like that" |

I don't believe it. You should send me one with the S&B scope so I can test it for myself.
Kthxbai. I'll be looking for the truck from big brown. 770 just in case. |
