-  I wonder what troop berthing looked like.  Whenever I started thinking ship life sucked, I always took a stroll through troop berthing.

-  Those LCACs are the noisiest SOBs on the planet.

I bet there is a world of difference compared to what it once was.

I see they managed to paint the ship. That should make the mouth-breathers happy.

It's too bad our country with our president is too much of a pussy to use any of that equipment to its full capability.
It's mostly show and tell and I think the world is catching on.

Nice ship though and a big thumbs up for the military running it.

One of our strengths is not being blinded by religious hatred like that of our enemies. It is highly appropriate for a Chaplain's department.

Impressive. As I understand, Part of the ship is made with steel from the two towers.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Good point.  I'm kinda ignorant when it comes to religion.

It's not that large. It's a 30mm. The same 30mm that is on the EFV there on the vehicle deck.

I only saw the berthing for the Marines....I ran into a buddy I know who is on board her.  He took me around to see the Marine berthing and other places not open to the public.  He said this ship is the roomiest he has been on.  The berthing space is much bigger than previous ships he has embarked on.

That is the finest troop berthing I've ever seen.

Looks more like crew berthing.

Marines will love this.

I thought the EFV was a dead/dying program? I wonder about the choice of that turret for the gun on the bridge, or does the ammo have commonality with other USN/USMC systems I'm not aware of? LAVs are 25mm like on Brads, right?

The 30mm kills small boats deader than the other choices.

LAVs need to be replaced. The Marines should take a look at the Patria AMV.

The ships supply officer decides which one if either is used.  Last ship I was on didn't have Soda in the ward room.
