I see a stink when cops start poppin random tires without giving someone time to pull over. Like preemptively popping tires on rice burners or on motorcycles.

This will quite possibly destroy the Grand Theft Auto game series. The cops already drive batshit crazy, I can imagine 5-10 of them coming after you with those damn spike strips.

Just more technology....to be used by the decent ones...and misused/abused by the rotten ones.

The problem is not and has never been with the devices that are developed....it's always with the
persons that use those devices. This one will be no different.

Thats exactly what I thought when I watched the video.

I still prefer the west Tx DPS method.....AR over the drivers side mirror and several .223 rounds in the fenders, doors and maybe the tires.

We had a bunch of us following a live chase from a helo one day, right here on ARF. IIRC, they had at least one tire down, and that F-150 just kept going.

What happens when the criminals realize that if you get close enough to the cop, it'll go in between your tires, forcing the cop to move 2+ feet either right or left, potentially running the cop off the road? I would think that would put the officers at a greater risk to harm.
