Shooting a bullet with a bullet too
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfDoQwIAaXg ETA: More cool vids Revolver Kaboom, detonators, & more bad music that Germans like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrQZ89baPpM Good music finally. I think most people have seen some of these. Mostly guns cycling, note the AK bolt carriers don't touch the back of the receiver (save your money on buffers) and check out how much the Glock dust cover flexes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0VjdI_S_HM |

A few more of the buckshot woulda been nice.
Excellent. 10 minutes of good stuff. |
|
Wow! I've been looking for those kind of videos for the longest time!!!
|
|
iwish they gave info on the backstop material and rounds that were fired.....
other than that- BADASS |
|
Quoted: That was erotic. I was thinking of a way to say it. You nailed it. |
|
i particularly liked the clips where the hollow point rounds where going through the ballistics gell.
kind of crazy to think of what those rounds do to a real target......but then again that's the point |
|
Excellent.
That guy definitely loves filming bullets. I did notice, when he got to the gelatin, there was a round that went in sideways (and came out the same way). Wonder what happened? |

I'm positive that is the coolest high speed camera footage I've ever seen.
That has to be footage from the cia, fbi or nasa. If not, why don't we know about this person? |
|
Check out his site, talks about which cameras he uses too. 1 million fps!
http://www.kurzzeit.com/eng/startseite.htm Now I know where my avatar came from. ETA: Just googled the price on the camera 22M yen or $205,000 |

Isn't that called temporary wound cavity? Or hydrostatic shok? (my spelling sucks) |

Isn't that called temporary wound cavity? Or hydrostatic shok? (my spelling sucks) twc or stretch cavity. However the permanent cavity of a bullet .5" in diameter can be much greater, or even less, depending on velocity, bullet geometry, tissue (liver/brain will be permanently destroyed when stretched even a slight amount), etc... You stretch some tissue 5x it's normal length and it simply isn't going to recover. |

The TSX bullet is fun to watch |

i noticed that some rounds were no longer spinning.. interesting probably the speed of the film was as fast as the bullet. 1/100,000 of a second is pretty fast |

I saw that too. I also noticed several rounds started to tumble after hitting the gel like the 5.56 does. that's a lot of trauma. fantastic video! |
|
One of the the coolest youtube vids I've seen in a long time.
|
|
Outstanding!
The birdshot is surreal, just a mass of steel shot moving at exactly the same speed. I would love to buy a DVD of that stuff without the watermark on it and just leave it running on the TV. Much better than the visualizations on my music player program. |

Pretty dang cool.
I wish they would have showed the ballistic gel blowing up more... |
