What is this? A day or week long special?
ETA link: http://www.drudgereport.com/flashaot.htm ABC TURNS PROGRAMMING OVER TO OBAMA; NEWS TO BE ANCHORED FROM INSIDE WHITE HOUSE Tue Jun 16 2009 08:45:10 ET On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government run health care –– a move that has ignited an ethical firestorm! Highlights on the agenda: ABCNEWS anchor Charlie Gibson will deliver WORLD NEWS from the Blue Room of the White House. The network plans a primetime special –– 'Prescription for America' –– originating from the East Room, exclude opposing voices on the debate. MORE Late Monday night, Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Ken McKay fired off a complaint to the head of ABCNEWS: Dear Mr. Westin: As the national debate on health care reform intensifies, I am deeply concerned and disappointed with ABC's astonishing decision to exclude opposing voices on this critical issue on June 24, 2009. Next Wednesday, ABC News will air a primetime health care reform “town hall” at the White House with President Barack Obama. In addition, according to an ABC News report, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, WORLD NEWS, NIGHTLINE and ABC’s web news “will all feature special programming on the president’s health care agenda.” This does not include the promotion, over the next 9 days, the president’s health care agenda will receive on ABC News programming. Today, the Republican National Committee requested an opportunity to add our Party's views to those of the President's to ensure that all sides of the health care reform debate are presented. Our request was rejected. I believe that the President should have the ability to speak directly to the America people. However, I find it outrageous that ABC would prohibit our Party's opposing thoughts and ideas from this national debate, which affects millions of ABC viewers. In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime. The President has stated time and time again that he wants a bipartisan debate. Therefore, the Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime. Respectfully, Ken McKay Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Developing... |

You know, Rush Limbaugh, not two weeks ago starting calling the MSM "the government media", he once again called it.
This is propaganda! The media, instead of just reporting news and facts, are editorializing. They are trying to purposely shape our views, thoughts and opinions. |
|
Rush has had it right all along..........................
STATE RUN MEDIA Lock and load. |
|
The mainstream media should be called the ministry of propaganda for the Leftist Democrats.

Ok, lets see, government takes over banks, then insurance companies, the car manufacturing, now media, and now wants health care. Gee, let me see. In the past, these actions were similar to some other countries. OH YEAH! Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, China, Vietnam, Venezuela, Cuba and half of eastern Europe.

the new amerikan provda comrades!! nothing to see here , move along , follow your assigned colored line to the appropriate cattle car , no pushing or shoving , plenty of room at camp happy for all of you!!!

Are we all going to have to hang a picture of Obama in our houses next and call him dear leader?
|
|
Are they going to air Chinless Charlie sucking off the TOTUS?
|
|
this will not end well. if obongo gets his way, health care will be destroyed. I talked to a friend yesterday who is much older than I am and jokingly i told him if this idiots plan goes through i hope he doesn't get sick cause your gonna die a horrible death. In earshot was a obongo supporter who said "how could you say such a terrible thing?". Well we both lit into her with facts and figures and her response was "OMG, I had no idea. where do you get information like this?" fuck, we are so screwed.

In regards to the thread "What are you doing for the 4th of July," I checked out the consulate homepage just to see if anything was planned. I ended up just browsing around and noticed under the Jobs section that it asks for your political and philosophical beliefs to be included in the application... I do not remember that under the previous president.

So, can we start the revolution now...? or should we wait just a little bit longer...?

The streets of the U.S. will look like Iran's in no time at all. We're too fucking lazy to get out in the streets and protest. It's too hot and American Idol reruns are on. Besides, if it were being held during the day, we would have to work. You know, we have taxes to pay. We can't get behind. |
