His Screen name is Hamsterbation, makes ya wonder doesn't it? Ok, now guys just try not to swamp the site with insulting posts to ruin it for the other members like my self who aren't ignorant so that he isn't proven right.

Yeah, are YOU BrenLover AKA Hamsturbation?  If not, which one is you?

I understand that the sear blocks are blind pinned, not press fit, and can't be just "pulled out" like Bryan S. says- can anybody clarify that?

I am Bryan S. on the site. The sear block can be pulled out as per a post a long while back on this site that I printed. I am guilty of over simplifying it so as not to confuse the non-gun people on the site.

Is there anything else?

Hamster and I have "discussed" other gun issues on the CrownVic.net site before. I dont know what the hell his problem is but it always ends the same unitl this time when he starts busting on this site.

I guess it was confusing because Hamsterbater says *he* is BrenLover- wierd!

It amazes me how little gun knowledge there is among LEO's... I guess it shouldn't surprise me- guns are tools to most I imagine.

Good luck with the trolls...

No prob, I think it was the way he was cutting and pasting my comments into his posts that may have been confusing. He is a LEO? In his profile it says student I thought, I will look again, if he is a LEO, he really needs to go back to school!

Oh!

What I meant was that it seems many of the LE on the forum seem limited in their knowledge of firearms- Hamsterbator has other problems it seems.  The only cop I knew personally was NOT a gun-nut in the least...

Whoever he is he seems to have an ax to grind with this site and those on it. Gee, I'm such a "Moron" [;D]

That's weird!

How come colinjay's link works, & DoubleFeed's dead-ends?!?
If there's a difference, I can't find it!

DoubleFeed's link has a BR tag at the end.  If you hover over the link, you can probably see it in your browser's status bar.

Just a typo.

Dont you find it mildly unsettling that this guy apparently used the words "hamster" and "masterbation" to create his username? There's a mentle image I didn't need! [:\]

Actually, not all of the sear blocks can be pulled out. Colt made some that simply were not milled in that area which would therefore require milling to remove. No pins or anything like that and they look normal from the outside. I know this for a fact because I bought one. A postban Colt Match Target HBAR.

You know, a crown victoria as in Ford? It's a site for the onwers of Crown Vics and Grand MArquis of all years. I own a 99 LX HPP and love it. Very good site overall but like all web sites has questionable members.
