Got up at 6:30 AM and went on 3 hour bike ride. Came home ate breakfast, then did 4.5 hours of heavy yardwork not counting lunch break. It was mild out, but the sun was shining hard. Did not get hat because I was too dirty. Drank 2X44oz of ice water during yard work. Finished work and took hour nap (mostly just relax; slept about 10 min I think.). Went in garage and did 30 minute Weights workout (100 crunches, 3X10 Squat, 3X10 Deadlift, 2X10Lunges, 100 bicycle crunches). Ate dinner; at this time it was noted I had sunburn on face. After dinner I mowed the lawn.

All was well until 20 minutes ago. Now I have nausea and chills.

What do i do? Take asprin and go to bed?

Nausea and chills for me indicate that I'm about to puke soon. Try and yak, maybe you'll feel better afterwards. I hate puking, but once I do it, I feel better. You might be a little dehydrated.

Sometimes when I'm in the direct sun all day,I'll feel the same way.Usually only happens around this time of year, spring. After the first few times I'm fine.
I always figured too much sun without being used to it, like working on a roof or something.

Sounds like you overdid it today man. Multivitamin + electrolytes (Gatorade etc.) and get some rest. You'll feel better in the morning.

you got heat exhaustion son!!  WAAAAAAYYYYYY 2 Much for one day unless your in relative physical condition, that's a good prescription for a heart attack if not properly conditioned

Actually it turned out I had an infection of the lower leg (cellulitis). But the symtoms (redness of skin, chills, nausea) fooled me into thinking it was Sunburn and Dehydration.

Sun poisoning. Being a fair skinned irishman I know exactly what you're going through. Solarcain on sunburn, drink more water, and sleep.
