In my quest to find the most informative sites on the web to keep me up on current events I've found that there are only a few that I keep returning to.

My thirst for knowledge brings me to :

www.fas.org
The Federation of American Scientists website is huge and only limited by your imagination.

www.drudgereport.com
A news website that brings us updated and breaking news. Likely the most viewed website in existence.

www.worldnetdaily.com
Great right leaning website bringing stories that Democrats would like to ignore as it might upset the bubble in which they base their lives.

My AOLhell news service

And last but not least....Ar15.com for it's humor, drama and personality.

There are quite a few more but these are the most informative for me.

Just in case you want to know something about anything else, try this page:

www.refdesk.com

They have a lot of interesting stuff on there, like Grays Anatomy, the Merck Manual, etc.

Shouldn't the FAS website really be named the
FALS: Federation of American LIBERAL Scientist?

Just a thought.

alexanderredhook,

About that FAS website: In less then 2 minutes of browsing I found the following page:

http://www.fas.org/asmp/campaigns/smallarm.html

This is basically UN propaganda, as anti-gun as it can get. It has many links to various domestic and international anti-gun organizations.

"...American-based gun-control groups work both on regulating licit gun sales and curbing illicit gun sales:

Handgun Control
Coalition to Stop Gun Violence
Join Together..."
[:X*] [:(!]

Such a website has very little credibility as far as I'm concerned. That's just me of course.

Regards,
Balu

-- Si vis pacem para bellum! --

P.s.: Almost forgot... No mention of the pro-gun side or its arguments, and absolutely no link to the NRA, Gunowners or JPFO. They do not even want to maintain the appearance of ballanced reporting on the matter. Really sad.

instead of fas.org reverse it to get to a PRO-gun site saf.org  :)
