Got a hankering for a 10/22 and wanted to get some ideas on what to start with since ruger has many variants of the rifle.  Let’s see some pics of your 10/22’s.

If you're planning on buying after market stuff for it after you get it I would just buy the cheapest one you can find since more than likely you will trash everything but the receiver itself.

Here's mine: A 10/22T with a cheapo Burris scope. A tack driver to be sure!!

Sure!

20" Matte black fluted .920" bull barrel, match chamber, built by Liberty Manufacturing.
Volquartsen TriggerGuard 2000, adjusted for no creep, no overtravel, and about a 1.8 pound crisp break.
Volquartsen recoil buffer.
Volquartsen claw extractor.
Volquartsen muzzle stabilization module (not shown in picture).
Volquartsen cantilever scope mount, mounted to barrel.
Power Custom Titanium firing pin.
Hogue overmolded stock.
Harris benchrest bipod, adjustable from 6"-9".
Bushnell sportview 3.5-10X44(?) scope.
Millet angle-loc high rings, matte.

This rifle has repeatedly given me joining holed groups at 70 yards, and has been reliable as well.

Keep an eye out for it on the Equipment Exchange. A buddy wanted it, but hasn't been able to buy it. It's for sale soon...

Here's another pic:

Yes, it comes from Ruger that way. Also available in stainless. The "Target" models also have a much better trigger than a standard 10/22. Nothing nearly as nice as Volquartsen triggers though.

Yes it is an AAR! Not mine though...[:(]

That'd be the same one TreeTop has on his. Hogue rubberized stock. Pretty nice, no complaints here. Volquartsen makes some killer custom 10/22 stocks at www.volquartsen.com

This one is basically all Volquartsen trigger assem. bolt, thumbhole stock, scope mount and carbon fiber .920 barrel. it's so light weight and controllable you can drive tacks rapid fire with out any muzzle climb at all.

Paul, how do you like the BC barrel?  I want to build up a lightweight plinker but want it to be accurate.  Also don't want to drop a bunch of money on a barrel but I then I also want it to be accurate and reliable.
