Thought the BAR was in 30'06...

Besides, why would you want 300 mag in a semi?

The only semi auto in .300 WinMag is the Walther 2000.

If I rember correctly the Browning BAR is availa ble in .300 Win Mag.

There's a new rifle out from HK that's chambered for the 300win. mag. and the 338win. mag., along with other cardridges.
It's called the HK SLB 2000.
There's a "Proof House" article on it, in the Oct. 2001 issue of Guns&Ammo.
The test gun was chambered for 30-06.
Best group was 1 1/2 inches at 100 yards.
Looks like a nice gun. 2 round magazine, with 5 and 10 available.

Im referring to the BAR currently produced, not the mid 20th century squad automatic weapon.

My BAR MkII Safari B.O.S.S.-C.R. in 7mm Rem.Mag will definetly shoot sub MOA.
I'm sure the same is attainable in the .300 Win.Mag.version.
Check out the BAR Stalker with B.O.S.S.---
Matte finished, synthetic stocked, what else could a guy want?

I don't have any photos of mine to show you.  It's not a Stalker model, although, if I were to buy a new one, it would be, and in .300.
Get one.

The new Small Arms Review has a AR type rifle chambered in .300 WSM. I think it was a Co. called Accuracy Systems that did the rechambering to a ASA AR-10 no less.
