The few times I got to shake hands with him he seemed like a very down to earth person. He has a good crew at his shop and seems like a good guy who cares about our industry and our country. I got to witness some real generosity at a shoot I attended. I dont think it was Randy but one of his guys won a DPMS sportical in a drawing, he stood up and handed the ticket to a soldier that had given a speech a little earlier. Good people Good rifles However John Annoni is kicking his ass in the poll |

For those who don't know I work for DPMS Panther Arms the number 2 AR manufacturer in America, and our President Randy Luth is up for this vote. It is very important to us that someone from the black rifle side of the industry wins, especially in the light of the election our new presidents view on these guns. It has taken years for people to become comfortable with these weapons that are only different from bolt action guns because they are semi automatic. I would really appreciate it if you would take the time to place your vote for Randy Luth. On the link above click the link that says, "Ready to vote? Click Hereand vote for OL 25's Person of the Year" then select Randy Luth. Thanks Everyone Those who don't know are idiots or can't read |

But it was pretty hard not to vote for John Annoni. http://www.outdoorlife.com/article_gallery/The-OL-25-1000023178/16 A teacher for 20 years and a lifelong resident of Allentown, Pennsylvania, John Annoni knows how important it is to give inner-city students a chance to get out of the city and into the outdoors. "Books just weren't cutting it," he says. So in 1994, Annoni started a conservation curriculum that grew into a federally recognized program called Camp Compass Academy.
Open to students in grades 5 to 12, it offers hands-on training in weapons safety and classes ranging from conservation to math. Through these, students earn the privilege of going on hunting and fishing trips made possible by funds Annoni has raised through grants from conservation groups, businesses such as Mossy Oak and private donations. http://www2.worldpub.net/images/outdoorlife/ol25_2009_john_annoni.jpg |

I had no idea who he was when I saw his name on the list. You're very right too. Hard not to vote for him. But we came here to vote for the black rifle dude. |

I'd have to vote Barrack Obama as the most influential.
He has been able to do for free what billions of dollars in advertising revenue would have. obviously, I'm kidding about the voting part. |

That John Annoti guy seems like a pretty swell guy though. |

John Annoni doesn't agree with us on black rifles. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/07/eveningnews/main641730.shtml John Annoni doesn't need to worry about new gun control legislation because the fact of the matter is nobody's talking about outlawing the kinds of guns he and his students use.

Arfcom can do better than this, you need a better thread title.

Not what I got from it. He actually said he prefers to talk about handling them correctly and not talking about what's allowed. He recognizes the slippery slope. |

14.01 percent for your guy. We are going to need to do a lot better.
