I'm volunteering out here in CO for poll judge/watcher. Actually had the class yesterday.

All it means is that the questionable registrations will wind up on a provisional ballot if anyone actually tries to vote under one. Those provisionals will be scrutinized after the polls close and before the results are certified. Many of the bad registrations are so obvious, see Mouse, Mickey, that they'll never see a vote cast.

Some ACORN workers were just lining their pockets by pumping up the numbers of registrations they submitting. I'm impressed that some of them even had a phone book. This is the kind of shoddy work you get when you hire an outside vendor to do your GOTV drive.

sounds like Ohioans need to make a peaceful march on the SoS's office and remind her who she serves. No craziness, just an orderly crowd letting her and the media know that they will not allow her to steal an election and they are watching and will challenge all impropriety.

We still have a good shot. In 2004, carrie took all the big commie metros, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati, but the rural counties voted for freedom. It won't be any different this time.

The decision by the full court repudiates the lower court's ruling siding with the Ohio Republican Party and ordering Brunner to verify records of about 200,000 of 666,000 new voters this year whose driver's license and Social Security records don't match information in other government databases.

Bitch allows hundreds of thousands of voter registrations right before the election, then says she can't be bothered to verify them when it's her damn job to verify them. Ohio is screwed and so are we.

Voters with irregularities will have to vote on provisional (paper ballots) if I remember correctly. You can volunteer to be a poll watcher to CATCH those irregularities and force them to vote on paper which can be challenged instead of a machine, which can not. Do not give up!

order (TRO) directing Jennifer Brunner, the
Ohio Secretary of State, to update Ohio’s Statewide Voter
Registration Database (SWVRD) to comply with Section
303 of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA), 116
Stat. 1708, 42 U. S. C. §15483(a)(5)(B)(i).* The United
States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit denied the
Secretary’s motion to vacate the TRO. The Secretary has
filed an application to stay the TRO with JUSTICE
STEVENS as Circuit Justice for the Sixth Circuit, and he
has referred the matter to the Court. The Secretary argues
both that the District Court had no jurisdiction to
enter the TRO and that its ruling on the merits was erroneous.
We express no opinion on the question whether
HAVA is being properly implemented. Respondents,
however, are not sufficiently likely to prevail on the ques-
tion whether Congress has authorized the District Court
to enforce Section 303 in an action brought by a private
litigant to justify the issuance of a TRO. See Gonzaga
Univ. v. Doe, 536 U. S. 273, 283 (2002); Alexander v.
Sandoval, 532 U. S. 275, 286 (2001). We therefore grant
the application for a stay and vacate the TRO.
It is so ordered.

* Title 42 U. S. C. §15483(a)(5)(B)(i) (2000 ed., Supp. V) states, in

While this sucks, for sure, you've got to believe that any independents who haven't made up their mind are going to be turned off by the demoncraps on this one.

Democrat-supporting group signs up thousands of illegitimate voters
Democrat-supporting group have folks "vote early and vote often" before their eyes
Republicans try to demand votes are shown as legitimate
Democrat SOS refuses to allow oversight at early election sites
Democrat SOS refuses to verify voter registrations even though that is her JOB.
Democrat-leaning judge (he's never been a "justice" b/c he doesn't know the meaning of the word, IMO) orders her to ignore lower courts ruling mandating that she do her job.
Democrats sit back and gloat that they pulled another one on America.

Heck, I imagine even many conservative democrats will be turned off by this.

Conservatives will surely be out in force come election day due to this garbage. (or so I hope)

This shit is why we need a national voter registration card. Voter fraud is being perpetrated with a nod and a wink by the local governments. Make the card so that it doesn't have a photograph, so it can't be used as a "National ID Card" (it would have to be presented with a valid government ID at the polling place.)
