We took my niece shooting for the first time on her 3rd b'day, to shoot the rifle (Chipmunk) I bought her for her 2nd b'day.  Water ballons "melted" to use her word.  Great time, precious memories on video.  The whole crew went--da niece, my wife, my brother and his wife, the wonderful mother who highly approved and video taped the whole affair.  It was great.  She looked so cute in her munchkin eye/ear protection from Silencio.  We put the rifle in a cradle, aimed it, she pulled the trigger and "melted" the water balloons.  She squeeled with delight at every shot.  She even practices safe gun handling.  Enjoy your boy!!
