Those guys are very inconsiderate. Its obvious from the muzzle blast that they are using some type of muzzle brake and all that does is make it louder and direct the blast at others that may be standing off or shooting to the side.

Anybody using a muzzle brake should not be allowed to fire their weapon.

One of the guys that shoots at my IHMSA (International Handgun Metallic Silhouette) matches has a pistol with a 10" barrel and a multi-port muzzle brake.  It chambers a wildcat cartridge based on the .444 Marlin necked down to .35 caliber.  The muzzle blast of that field piece kinda reminds me of that pistol...

Wonder if that red howitzer has the same sort of vicious report that the Ruger Single Six in .30 Carbine has.

A guy at the San Gabriel Valley Gun club let me empty his cylinder on one of those (had a long, 7" or so barrel).

Through quality muffs, the report was so ear-splitting, I will never shoot another one, again, for the rest of my life.(Bill Ruger, you Scoundrel, you goofed again.)
