The Republican party is now reduced to hoping that they can scare enough people into believing that not giving a shit will reduce this nation to ruin. Since they've abdicated protecting the constitution, balancing the budget, and striking a reasonable balance on taxes and corporate influence, there isn't much left.

Their failure of leadership means that the socialist/progressive democrats look pretty sensible to some.

Yes I believe the breeding community is on the small size here.

Now as for the number of the non-straight members it's probably 5-10 percent and about 50% of the non-straight members who are the very reason that the Pink Pistols exist. Kinda hard to bash someone when they are carrying a .45 and know how to use it.

But this thread is going down the same paths as others. Closet cases trying to sound straight and such. It's getting really funny.

I always heard that on the news as the reason why aids spread so fast in the rump ranger community.

aids is spreading in the black community at a higher rate than any other group right now...

men are more promiscous as a group than females, but it is not relagated solely to the homo community....

I believe that is caused by drug use in the black community. I'm sure unprotected sex is a factor also.

Specifically, it is sex-for-drugs and the high prevalence of VD in some parts of the black community. It's also very stratified -- the normal part of the black community shares almost no major trends with the 30% or so that is going to hell on the express elevator, including the HIV part.

Live and let live. If 2 guys or 2 girls want to bone each other, call each other hubby and hubby, etc, its sure as hell not hurting anyone else.

I like to tell fag jokes as much as anyone, but politically gays should have the same rights I do.

The government needs less power, not more.

Its the way things work now, Apostrophe just wants to take the word "marriage" off of the "marriage license."

Want to get married in front of God? Go to a church. Thats exactly how it works now, nothing would change.

Are you sure you're married?

Go to a church and get married without a marriage license, and then see what sort of legal rights you have. The priest has no legal power to marry a couple already.

You've just about lost me. I'm married as soon as I say 'I do', no matter who it is in front of. The license is just the state's recognition of that. I'd be just as married, IMO, without the license. I just get a bunch of new rights and responsibilities with the license.

Actually if you were to read all the OMG my relationship/marriage just crashed and burned threads around here you can come to the conclusion.

It's probably like reading reviews on places. People who are happy don't complain.
