No way.
They hate each other and each has too big an ego to submit to the other.

I have no doubts it's completely within his power to do so.

I would not put it past him.  Although a VP usually is expected to bring a large State, or Region, Hillary brings a majority demographic.

I can see Obama and the Beast creating controversy and buzz right up to the convention, then they join together and sing Kumbaya.

That would energize the Media and the Democrats like we haven't seen since the days of FDR.

Hillary will take it, if that all she can get.  She would sit in the wings and try to get Obama impeached or otherwise eliminated.

Now it's a love/hate relationship

But he elaborated a bit, saying: “I will say that she has shown herself to be an extraordinary candidate. … She is hard-working, she is tough. She is very smart, and so I think she would be on anyone’s list — short list of vice presidential candidates. But beyond that, you know, I don’t want to offer an opinion.”

I agree. I have no doubt McCain can mess this whole thing up. He is being quiet right now (part of his problem) but as things heat up he is going to show the world that his best days are long behind him and that he is hardly virile enough to run a Car Wash let alone the world.

If he chose Hitlery, we'll be taking odds on how long he'll live.  There is no way he should pick her...the Clinton's past is just too littered with dead people.

Listen folks, it's been said around here before that hillary won't take the VP slot because she couldn't stand being second fiddle to anybody.

Guess what? She played second fiddle to bill for decades.

The truth is that she dosn't have a lot of viable electoral time left in her career.  As an older woman getting even older, she knows that this is pretty much her chance.  If she can't beat obama, she's finished.  Her claims of experience won't be listened to in the future because the voters will have made it clear that they would rather have a noob politician in the office then her with her claims of "experience".

If obama gets the nod, her goose is cooked. (and its head stuck in a dressere drawer by a swedish guy).

That leaves her wanting to leave her mark on the face of politics in any way she can.

Would she rather be knownn as the wife of a former prez who served a few terms as a senator and made an unsuccessful bid for the WH, or, would she suck it up and go on the record books in the archives of history as the first woman VP of the United States of America?

I personally think that if Obama pulls it out, she will suck it up and then take out all of her old lady angst on congress and the senate just so she could at least get that title.

She will also spend that time getting that "experience" she so desperatly wants so in 8 years, she can fool herself into thinking that America will actually vote in an old hag to the WH and run again.

Believe me, if obama gets it, she WILL take VP.

Nope-it's a fairly smart ploy on his part to call the contest over and say Hillary finished second to divert attention away from his certain loss in WV next week due to all them ignorant inbred hillbillies voting against him.

Not a chance not even an remote chance.

Hillary will have shit pots more power as a NY Senator than she could ever have as a VP. Especially in a relationsyhip like this. Traditionally a VP is a friggin school opening and funeral attender for the president.

There is no chance. Here is what will happen:

Hillary will win the next primary. A week later she will one of the two primaries and claim that she has seen the light and it is time to think about the party. In the meantime she will be given behind the scenes massive amounts of clout and may even get the Senate majority seat from Pelosi.

If the above happens and Hillary gets Senate majority seat we can just stand the fuck by because she will take it and she will come with a vengence.

Reality is Senate Majority leader is so much more important and powerful than a VP to a young guy like Obama. By 2016 she is a worthless old hag and can't be pres. IF she plays her cards right she can be Senate majority leader.

No Hillary will never accept VP if for nothing else the Dems lose what little credibility that they have. You can't snipe at each other and make accusations and pretend you were just kidding.

Except for the fact that the clintons are very concerned about their "legacy", i'd follow that line of thinking.

But because they are more interested in being well known and leaving a legacy on a large scale, I think she'll take it.

8- Jerry Parks -Head of Clinton's gubernatorial security team in Little Rock Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock. Park's son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton. He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house.

Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.
