Check out a site near D.C. Spring Hill (I think) U.S. Army tested Mustard Gas, Lewisite, Chlorine Gas and other chemical weapons before and or after WW1. They buried a lot of material in trenches that they have to clean-up now. I am sure the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) has a website for this clean-up project.  Try the Huntsville, AL District (USACE).
