Why do I like this song so much?

Is Golden Earing a one hit group?

You got it!
Wasn't that '72 or '73?

"...gotta be cool, now, gotta take care..."

I was into Tower of Power; Cold Blood; Buddy Miles; Santana; Rare Earth; James Brown; Led Zepplin; anything with a full SOUND.

Radar Love is "jammin'".

Growing up in the sixties, most of what I like is from that era. I thought Radar Love came along a little than 72 or 3. Anyway, I do like "full sound" music:

Moody Blues

Led Zeppelin

Chicago

Stones- always liked "Sympathy for the Devil

And "Best Song From Woodstock"--

"Going Home"  TEN YEARS AFTER  by far the best performance from that documentary.

I love it in the movie,Alvin Lee tries walking off the wrong side of the stage when he finishes "Going Home" and he's carrying a big ass watermellon. How stoned was he?

I think I saw ten Years After at the LA Forum way back when. Not sure though.
He (Alvin Lee) was great. Good show but I can't remember who the warm up was? Maybe those guys?

You've got to be careful when you're driving and Radar Love comes on.About halfway through the song you'll look down and your doing 80 in a 45.I've got a old LP Golden Earring Live. It's got like a 15min version of Radar Love.Man it rocks!Wish they would reissue it on CD.

I always loved Ten Years After, never thought they got the acclaim they deserved.

Don't you mean White Lion's version?

BTW: Golden Earring also hit the charts with "Twilight Zone" (#10) in 1983.

"Hey, Joe, where ya goin' with that gun in your hand?"

Gonna shoot my ol' lady down; caught her messin' round with another man."

And anything else by Jimi.

After all the jacks are in their boxes
and the clowns have all gone to bed
You can hear happiness staggering on down the street
footsteps dressed in red

Wind cries Mary
