Well it looks like the "Phillistines" have really screwed up this time!The IDF doesn't send in the "funny hat" brigade to deal with them most of the time.Usually it's just civilian units that are sent in to quell insurrection,arson and murder but when Golani Brigade shows up then it's really a war at that point.Those helmet covers serve the same purpose as the "Palestinian" shemagh,it keeps the direct sun off of your head and and I guess it obscure your outline while peeking over a hill or trench.
All of the terrorist and killers know that when the "funny hat" guys show up that it's their a$$.I think the hats might have originally served a tactical advantage since upon seeing them the enemy might be to busy chuckling and making "funny hat" jokes to mount an effective defense. |
