Maybe it's just me[:(]. It is the first rain of the year in my area, and I hate it. The rain causes my back to hurt, I have a cold, and I can't go shooting.

its time to pull out the toilet seat warmer, that darn thing is ice cold

Ahh, the crisp chill in the air, the smell - just a hint of the snow that will soon fall.

Knowing that in a month I will have to be up at 4AM shoveling snow if I want to make it in to work.

Winter is when I am at my best, most active. You can shoot in the snow, hell with a little effort even rain wont hold me back from a range.

Summer is when I do the least shooting, too busy either patrolling the recreational areas with the ambulance or kicking it back with a cold one

Winter? Where? It's going to push low 80's here today, low 50's tonight. Supposed to get a little cooler whenthe front from Ca. comes through tonight or tomorrow, but it is still t-shirt and shorts weather here.
I'm sure it will get cold here sooner or later though.[:)].

The fronts right over us and it's still T-shirts and shorts, sorta. I prefer a light jacket and shorts.

We in fall/winter season. Our friends south of the equator in Autralia etc, are going into spring/summer. My friend went to Autrialia for vacation during Dec. and he had to think a minute, after hearing an ad say "get your swimming pool installed in time for Christmas."

I look forward to cold weather every year since I hunt deer. After I have had my fill of hunting, I am begging for Spring. It doesn't take long to tire of the cold. It's dark when you go to work, dark when you get home. Heck, you are ready to go to bed at 6PM, as it tricks your body into thinking it is 9 or 10PM.

I couldnt wiat for this rain to come... even though it makes me ache anywhere I've ever hurt myself, or everywhere.

Ever since I lived in WA I have loved the rain. It, the rain, signals the beggining of my hunting and fishing seasons. Stripers begin showing,,,, pigs spend more time feadiing.... Yeh baby I am glad to see the rain!

Winter has set in here in Hawaii with a vengence. Most days now it doesn't get above 83 degrees and sometimes at night it is down to 70 degrees. It is really difficult living under these conditions. I have had to cut back going to the beach only two or three times a week. This is the time of year when the avocadoes, mangoes and passion fruit are littering the driveway and the night blooming jasmine is wafting through the soft night breezes. It's OK, I lived in Alaska for 18 years.......besides Hawaii is anti-gun Hell.

So maybe winter aint so bad somewhere free!!!

Ah George, the rain is great! Time to stoke up the wood stove with some sweet smwelling cedar and warm the hands after taking the .22 out on the deck and blasting away - because the rain and wet trees dampen the sound of me ripping of shots! I keep telling you to move up here to the hills, away from Red Davis' neighborhood. [:D]

I absolutely LOVE the winter!!!!!!!! I love the cold, the rain, being under the covers butt booty naked with some girl while its cold, and all that other great stuff.

BTW, BigMac, where do you go fishing for them stripers? Delta? Pacifica? I need to know!!!

Rain? Cold in CA? I have been shoveling snow and driving on ice for over three weeks now. Come and visit Alaska and you might appreciate your "winter". Do I sound bitter? It's only because of the bitter cold.
