You guys sound like its the end of freedom as we know it, and the Constitution is being ripped in shred's SIMPLY cause you post gotr locked. Let it go. You are too full of your own self-importance. (Most of us - me included- are.) I can't imaging the FF were thinking "Babe of the Day" on AR15.com when the pledged their "loves, fortunes and sacred honor." relax, fellas. First, SPECIFIC reference to firearms was made in the Constitution. NO specific reference was made to "babes" or soft porn in the First Amendment. Second, YES they WERE thinking about AK's and AR's in the Second. The firearms they were guaranteeing access to were the most deadly man-portable killing machines the world had ever known. Just the same way the antis charachterize "assault rifles." The FF DID NOT differentiate between a smoothbore and a rifled barrel, or a pistol vs. a rifle. They guaranteed access to ALL firearms. Don't fall into the arrogant trap of thinking the FF were not aware that firearms tech would advace after they were dead and gone. They had seen firearms accuracy jump IMMEASURABLY in THEIR OWN lifetime, with the invention of the rifled barrel. lastly, the FF DEFINATELY advocated YOU restricting YOURSELF from handling, viewing distributing sexaully promiscuous materials, tho they did not mention them specifically. (BTW, I'm NOT invoking the First Amendment here. I understand the difference between the restrictions the Bill of Rights imposes on the government and the restrictions imposed by the owner of a private forum.) |

I dunno...the fighting and bickering gets old pretty quick, but I always get a laugh when somebody tries to threaten somebody else. Like most of these people will ever see each other face to face. Anybody can say whatever they want cause they know more than likely they will never have to back it up. It sure makes it easy for people to talk trash when they are just a name on a computer monitor.
All in all I agree though. Most stuff gets started over a bunch of nothing and gets blown way out of proportion. Michael |

I would die for any of bill of rights, YES. Babe of the day was a unimportant topic for entertainment. The problem wasn't the topic it was the way that people posted pics. If something is offensive don't look. The topics don't open themselves (at least not for me). If you don't like whats on TV then you change the channel. If you don't think a topic is interesting then don't read it. Now if someone is posing nudity then that person should be punished. Its like punishing criminals not gun owners in general. If everyone was doing it right then the mods wouldn't have to work so hard. When a post is getting out of hand thenIca understand it getting locked, but the people pushing it should be warned. i don't think we need new rules, I think we should enforce the rules currently in place (sound familiar). Ya know, I didn't have anything to say about the whole dust-up over the last couple of days...until now. Garandman...for,hopefully the last time, Try to get it through your thick skull that not everyone agrees with your view of reality. OK Your puritanical views are so often repeated that all you really need to do is post your name and everyone knows that the church lady has just given a lecture. And do not give me that same old line about witnessing...we heard it already. Your constant attitude of "I am better than all of you because GOD talks to me" is more offensive than some Sh!tty photos-at least they were gone quickly. I have agreed with you on at least one post but please man, give us something besides demagougary and constant preaching.
