That trigger tube is kind of WAY too long isn't it?  You are wasting a large chunck of the combustion in a tube not really part of the combustion chamber and angled the opposite direction...

But I don't know a thing about those cannons... I'm just looking at direction of combustion.

How effective is the suppressor?  Mine is pre-ban, evil black paint, with threaded interchangeable barrels and I just have not gotten around to building a suppressed barrel for it.  I have a 14" carbine with vortex FS cut into the end.  Another 32" with Bushmaster Y-comp break, and one 30" with A1 FS.  Looks like you have a long 3" chamber with the 3-1&1/2 reducer, is that right?  What propellant are you using?  Mine is a 4" chamber with a 1&1/2 barrel and with a new 36" barrel it shoots 150 yards or so, sometimes a bit more sometimes less.  Don't expect to much more than that with aquanet, its loud and good enough for me.  My 32" with the A1 is very dirty and only shoots about 90 yards now.

I sent you an email about the spud gun.  Here are some links as well.

Safety tip... from one site.

"You Can Never Be Too Careful...

Drill a hole in the bottom of the cap and super glue a piece of plastic over it. Do not use a lot of glue. Seal it with caulk. The purpose of this is if the pressure becomes too great in the chamber, the cover on the cap will blow off
preventing a chamber explosion. "

ps.  I had a buddy that detonated the combustion chamber.  Nasty flying pieces of PVC shrapnel.                                                                   [shock]

I thought about using some other propellant but hairspray has a built in safety as if you put too much it will not ignite.  It is dirty though, so I have everything threaded in so I can take it out and soak it in hot water.  My chamber is the same volume and I can't imagine the recoil if it is truly sending a chunk of potato 300 yards.  I just don't trust PVC with that much pressure, hope you don't get a KB.

I like the styling, Is the barrel "free floating" within the suppresor?  Or does that Barrel "end" where the supressor begins?  If so, are there problems with projectiles getting "lodged" in the suppressor (failing to clear the crown)?

I still can't get mine back from my father-in-law as he's been having too much fun with it.  We use propane to charge and flint lantern lighter to ignite.  No residue on the igniter.

Also to whomever asked the silencer fits over the barrel. i ported it and then built the silencer over it... i would have liked to make it removable but im a n00b to this.
