Go for crew and reloads. 80 guns do you no good if you can't reload them.

+1 on crew and reloads..if u don't suck u wont need the crew right now but they do come in handy..its a lot faster to kill a ship my boarding it than using cannons. |

Do you actually have to go touch the wreck to get the gold? Or do you get it automatically at the end of the round?

You have to touch it. If it doesn't float away off the bottom of the screen b4 the round ends u get it automatically tho. |

I tried to register for Rule the Seas, but it didn't like my email addresses or something...  Couldn't get it to work. But if it's as good as it sounds, it might be worthwhile to try some more.

The last level is tough. The trick is to constantly fire your cannons, not to wait until they are all reloaded. Also, you have to know how to maneuver your ship to keep from getting boarded by the lesser enemy ships that show up. |

FYI
They have made some changes to the game. No more grapeshot, it's now more damage per hit, you can move over more of the area, and there is no wind that blows you around. |
