I did a search to see if this has been posted already on here...didn't see it.  I saw this about a week ago, then lost the URL and just found it again (good thing my head is attached to my shoulders!).

My wife has been prodding me to compile a flash animation as a rememberance for September 11th, yet I've put my efforts elsewhere.  The flash animation below somebody else did, [b]and they did a very good job![/b]

It's a big file...about 7mb (about 15-25 minutes for a dialup connection).  [b]But worth it.[/b]

The animation is 5-10 minutes long to view.  A good time to reflect.  Don't forget to turn your speaker volume up just a tad.

I watched it, went upstairs and hugged my wife and kids still in bed and then headed to work with tears in my eyes.  Very powerful and moving.

I think if most of those peaceniks realized that it was REAL people who died and not some abstraction they saw on TV they'd have a complete change of heart.  Maybe that's why those at Ground Zero have been so determined to see people pay for what happened.  When you see people jumping out of burning buildings to their death and you see the rubble left by those buildings that came down you have to know that the people that died are more than just numbers scrolling along the bottom of the screen on the news.  They were human lives that are gone forever.

This version from about a week ago has two pieces of music in it which makes it about 8MB in size.  I'm only guessing that the latest version just had the one song and saved about 15% on download times/bandwidth.
