Fellas - Yesterday I got in my order of potassium iodate - I'll be bringing some to the shoot - cost is $14 for 100 adult doses -Cheaper than you can get it anywhere unless you spend $1728 like I did and buy a case of it.

Radioactive iodine gets into your thyroid gland and stays there a very long time.  Taking potassium iodate pills puts iodine into your thyroid and thus prevents the radioactive iodine from entering your thyroid.
