AR_Rifle,......nice Drag, how much did you spend on it?
Im thinking of using one of those Saiga 308 rifles as a platform, and getting a Dragonouv barrel/front end, and buttstock installed.
Anyone see any problems I might have with this plan..........OR,...has anyone seen a Drag for sale anywhere?

When I bought it ($1,800.00), I was lucky to get it.  Then suddenly the price gone up to $2,200.00 and up to $2,800.00 after a while then it dropped again. I don't see any for sale lately but you can do a search from these sites:

Mine is an imported Norinco NDM-86 .308 (which I really want)rather than the Russian 7.62x54 Dragunov (very very expensive).

Good luck.

Here is mine!  Yeah, I know it is the least desirable of them, being a standard TIGR Dragunov, but hey, it's still the real thing.  I have 4 10 round mags and one 5.  Unfortunately, only the 5 was easily accessible (I primarily shoot with it) when I wanted to take this photo.  It looks far better with the 10.

Dan0341,....THAT is what I want to build, how does it shoot?

Madmedic, it seems to shoot extremely well.  I have yet to seriously shoot it on paper to see how it groups.  I was shooting empty shotgun shells at exactly 100 yards and hitting them (they were mounted on wood so they wouldn't fall over with a near miss).  But it did take me an average of three or four tries per shell(sitting position).  I still haven't tried shooting it from the bench.  It's a fun rifle to shoot.
