Wife said last week I could buy the gun I really want.  OK, that narrows it down to about ten.  Actually five right about now: Kimber Eclipse, M1A, EAA SxS shotgun, one of those damn Yugo SKSs if they ever get here, and Styer Pro Hunter.  Ugh, I wish I was rich.  At least the list is narrowed down, it would be five times as long if I lived in a free state.

I really don't know.  I just got a Kimber Ultra Elite last week.  I was trying to get some ideas from you guys.  I might lean towards some kind of conceal carry revolver. [>:/]

I've been thinking about a Magnum Research BFR in 45/70 and a Tromix upper in .458 SOCOM.

Is this one of those posts that is supposed to make us all jealous of your "better half"?  WELL IT'S WORKING!  My old lady would tell me to "sell some that you don't need" (don't need?... yeah, right!) to finance a Barrett.  You lucky dog. [;)]

SAR-2, 10 magazines and about 1,000 rounds. The really sweet part is that I can probably do the whole package for less than $400. To me, this seems the like best politically incorrect rifle deal in the country right now.

Maybe a CETME after that.

I would like to see someone introduce a .45 ACP pump action rifle with a 16” barrel and a tube magazine.  It should have an “auto-trigger” so that it would fire if the trigger is pulled and the slide is closed.  I would like it to have ghost ring and post sights, with a weaver rail cast or machined into the receiver.  It ought to weigh about 4 .5 lbs.  Factory accessories would include a bayonet lug, for M-16 style bayonets, a three-sided weaver rail attachable to the magazine tube, and tritium sights.

It could obviously be made in any number of pistol calibers, 10MM being another intriguing one.

The base model should sell for $299.99.

My next purchase will likely be whatever catches my eye. I had planned to pick up an AK of some sort and an HS200 and ended up buying a VEPR II in 7.62 x 39 and a CZ75 this weekend, with a P32 thrown in for good measure.

I really need a nice G3 variant to complete my "7.62 auto loading military rifles of the world" collection [:)]
