i came into posesion of a pre-ban upper if i filed off the bayo lug and threads for the flash hider would it be legal to put on a post-ban lower?

I'll trade you a post ban front sight base for that preban.

Also I'ld have the barrel turned down, or cut and recrowned, on a lathe.

You can also have just the teeth of the lug taken off and have a muzzle brake soldered and pined on. Also pre ban uppers cost the same as post ban uppers, so do what you want.

AS prebans UPPERS can still be manufactured and commercially sold to civilians, this is not a big deal.

IT is a nice older pre-ban oly i beleive and 20in and a-1 sight i think, it has the triangle type handguard. i'll take $250 for it
