This is when Rick and lisa were in a mecha in that half robot half jet setting and were together after Rick saved Lisa and they hovered off into the sunset....... excuse me.. ::wipes tear::

My favorite Robotech was the New Generation series.  I thought the Invid were much cooler enemies than the Zentradi and I dug the Alpha, Beta, and Cyclone mechs.  God, bringing back my childhood memories! [:)]

If you liked Robotech, check out Macross Plus. It is a sequel to the original series in four parts. The 2 hr edited movie version is better, the 4 single hour episodes have to much soap opera and not enough fighting.

Macros Plus is some of the best Anime animation I've seen, but wait until the rerelease of Vampire Hunter D. Tid bits that I've seen so far are absolutely beautiful. The story in the original D is really good too.

Please, allow me to be the third to say G-force was the shit.  I spent untold hours in 3rd and 4th grade making those helmets out of construction paper in school LOL.

Does anyone have any links or website to share?

I was a 10 year old kid when this came out and of course it fascinated me.  My dad rotated to Okinawa and got all the Japanese toys in Tokyo on leave.  First cartoon with animated violence that i was exposed to and i've been steadily desensitized since.

Golgo-13: The Professional
Golgo-13: Queen Bee
Wicked City
Fist of the Northstar (original anime, not that shitty live remake or the new series)
Silent Mobius
Crying Freeman
Ghost in the Shell

These are some anime worth watching.  I've never been able to stomach any of the mech series'.  Even the average GI Joe episode is more entertaining.

http://www.animeigo.com will be releasing the original uncut Macross TV series on DVD this december.  The list price is $250 if you pre order now.
I actually met Carl Macek and he was real upset that what he felt his worst work (Robotech) was the most popular thing he had ever done.

Despite the alarming preponderance of shoujo anime [:P] here's a few recomendations for stuff you don't have listed -

Slayers - Forget the OVAs from ADV, just go out and buy the "Slayers" box set DVDs from CPM.  And start saving your money because I guarantee that before you reach episode 26 you'll already have bought "Slayers Next" and "Slayers Try."

Cowboy Bebop - Quite possible the best anime series I've ever seen.  Just buy it!!

Outlar Star - A good, fun, series.  And when you watch the DVDs you'll see just how badly they had to edit it for Toonami.

Martian Successor Nadesico - Another surperb series that continuously makes fun of anime in general and giant robot series in particular.  Imagine an alien civilization on Jupiter whose entire culture is based on a Getta Robo-like show.  And they're attacking earth!

Magic Users Club - since you're a Tenshi Ni Narumon fan, you should like this.  Aliens have invaded the Earth, and the only thing they can't defend against is are the members of a high school magic club.  As usual, has a complicated love pentangle that changes from episode to episode.  Very "cute."

Don't Leave Me Alone Daisy - I don't know where to even begin with this one.  But it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Niea Under 7 - Another totally bizarre series.  A poor cram school student is plagued by a lazy, freeloading, low-level alien who lives in her closet and is preoccupied with eating and building flying saucers.  Very odd.

Classics needed in any collection -

Tenchi
BGC
El Hazard
Vision of Escaflowne
Record of Lodoss War
Burn Up W
Key the Metal Idol
Moldiver
Battle Angel

Fan Service videos everyone should own -

Cutey Honey
Agent Aika
Knights of Ramune
Photon

Videos that suck so save your money -

Lost Universe
Wild Cardz
Virgin Fleet
Big O
Angel Cop

Anime?  Drugs would be cheaper......
