Hey FedGunner, I'm also in Minnesota.
The Metro-Area has a HUGE underground Militia from what I've been told. The State of Minnesota has officially disbanded its militia, but citizens are (I think?) allowed to privately form cells/units on their own. I once (on campus here) last year was approached by an older gentleman (about in his late 30's early 40's) and asked about how I support my second amendment rights, etc... yadda yadda yadda... He's trying to sell me political agenda BS I thought, but then he mentioned that he's recruiting for additions to the Minneapolis/St.Paul underground Militia. I didn't know what to think of at the time, so I refused his offer (HEY! I WAS LATE FOR CLASS, didn't have time to chitchat). Now, however, I do somewhat regret taking his business card. I don't remember much about him at all anymore though. From what he told me though, there's about 250 people in Minneapolis (250 people = 30 units or so) and a few in St Paul also. I know from browsing on the internet, the Rochester area of Minnesota has also an underground militia going on. It's the disbanded 3rd brigade of the Minnesota Minutemen Militia. I heard rumors of it being a decent size militia, but I don't know anyone personally in one of these...
Sometimes I regret not getting in on the Minneapolis Militias, but oh well. Send me an email if you do happen to find any information on contacts for the Metro-area militia at teh following address:
