The Buckmark is a much better deal. But keep your eyes on the prize, the H&K 91 is my ultimate goal. I have a .45 Tactical, but that is my next rifle.

I'd rather have the HK myself. Just dont want to pay the dag gone thing. Saw an HK91 last month at Rupp Arena. The guy was askin 3000 for it. I saw the price and walked away....LOL

I know where there is (maybe was) a nice HK 91 for $1800.
However, I am not a big fan of the HK 91--they are quite nice, but as a .308, I prefer the FAL more. AFARR |

If anyone in the Houston area (preferrably North) want to try out a 91 to see what it's like, just let me know. I'd be glad to let a future HKer in on the fun.

rats...........Hell, i need to read up on 'em befor i buy one i guess. Dont really know whole lot about them. Are there parts availible for them? How can ya tell if they are genuine HK and Hesse or Cetme?

HK's are actually stamped "HK."
Best place to find info on them is at www.HKPRO.com or www.hk91.com The former is a lot more civil in my experience. But, the boards are temporarily down last I checked. |

OK...Thanks. I have seen several in the exchange forum. Just hate to buy something that expensive with out checking it out first. Hell, i havent even picked one up befor.
