when shootin groups, as in 3 shot or 5 shot or whatever, do you measure from the center of each round or outer edge?

I personally ignore all rounds that hit outside of a 1" circle. Ha!!

I took a Precision Rifle class last spring; the instructor was a Marine sniper.

He said to measure outside edge to outside edge, and subtract your caliber.

Measure outside to outside at the widest point, then subtract one diameter of the bullet you are shooting for an accurate center to center group size.
