he might try 'the Armory'. i've never been in there but they're weapons are geared more towards the tactical side. as far as the regular gun stores.... i've never seen AR mags for sale.

oh yeah, i think Cavalry Arms might have some. at one of the shoots Shawn had some new in wrapper, USGI mags available. it might be worth a shot.

you guys want to hear something funny...my local gunstore sells 30rnd new USGI magazines for 100 dollars each. Beretta 15's, hell, those are only 110.
really sad. and I thought they were a good price until I started looking online |

I got 4 USGI's in wrapper and about a dozen Thermomold's (which I like better)...

Yes I like the Thermolds much better, especially the 20rd ones.
