Why?? They're just the vicious-breed-of-the-moment. Buy any big dog, treat it like shit, and you'll get a nice junkyard-dog-temperament killer.
Hell, buy a breeding pair of some recognized breed, make sure the bitch is pregnant, train the male to kill people on sight, sic it on a schoolyard of children, and then sell the pups for your $1500 each -- you'll make a real killing and can buy a few "canarios" at fire-sale prices, since they'll no longer be the vicious-breed-of-the-day. |

That's like saying the "50 BMG is just the big bore of the moment"...
While there may be a surge in popularity, that dosn't detract from what the dog is. Super good temperment, with the ability to take on a pack of pit bulls. |
