Quoted: Anyone out there shoot one of those Century AR15s? I saw Southern Ohio Gun has them advertised cheap. We had one at our MD AR shoot last weekend. Fight4YourRights & I had some real problems zeroing it with all the crud in the front sight well and the front sight detent well. After they were cleaned out the rifle was sighted in. I then had to leave to help some others and Fight indicated the guy shot 50-60 rounds without problems before leaving. I put aobu 10 rounds through it myself when we were diagnosing the sight problem. It looked worn, and from what I was told it was the Gentleman's second such rifle, the first was returned because it looked so bad. |

The one I had ran like a champ! It was all Colt parts on an Olympic Arms lower receiver stamped Centurian Century Arms, etc.

A friend of mine has one. If I remember right it has a A1 upper receiver and Colt A1 barrel. sf46 is right about the lower. The stampings indicate that Century contracted with Olympic to make these lowers for them. Rifle shoots well. He bought it new at a gun show. All parts in new condition.
