My most successful post was the first post ever on the new board. I think it said... "Who's here, I am"

It was around 6-8 pages long if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure if you meant posts or threads. I don't start too many threads, but I always look at succesful posts as those where I have the opportunity to thank Veterans for their service to the Country. This is a big deal to me. Those who served in Viet nam haven't, for the most part, had their share of gratitude for making the exact same sacrifices other combat vets have made. I relish what liberty we have left, and do not [b]for a moment[/b] forget who paid for it.

whenever i start a thread, only like 10 people read it, nobody responds, and i see the same thread under a different title, by another author, and THAT usually becomes a big hit...

Mine was at the other board. It was titled soemthing like getting 1000 post or something. If memory serves me right, it had about 4 pages(the other board was 40 post per page, if I remember correctly. Here is 25post per page) before it got locked. Here I had the, origin of your moniker, which yielded about 5 pages I think.

I don't judge my "successful" posts by the number of replies. I judge them by the [b]QUALITY[/b] of replies.

On the old board my best was the quest for a new garden tractor. Best advice a man could have.
I ended up purchasing an Ariens and I just love the thing. I hope the SOB who stole my other one is going broke fixing the damn thing.

Waaay back on the old board I started a post suggesting we should get or have someone make up some AR15.com shirts and it took off from there. I'm blanking out and can't remember all the details, but one of the "old school" members and his wife/girlfriend ran off a batch before the board actually started offering them. I thought that was pretty successful.

Mine was the one where I asked if Tom Selleck should be the next head of the NRA and then everyone started bashing him 'cause Rosie the fat hog bushwacked him on her show and then guys started saying he was gay 'cause he did some movie where he kissed another guy.

Gotta go - going to watch Magnum P.I. get in bed with that hot asian chick that was his wife back in 'nam.
