LOL, that is funny. There is an Asian food restaurant near me called Pho 99. I don't know what it means, but every time I drive by it I laugh.

I'd hate to be a waiter there.

"Hi, Welcome to F@# M# can I take your order?."

SexualChocolate,
"Pho" is the Vietnamese national dish. It's rice noodles in in broth in a myriad of different kinds of beef and chicken. Great stuff! "99" or any other names attached to it refers to either the region where the owner's from or family name or whatever. If any of you have nerver eaten Vietnamese food, try it. Better and healthier than Chinese. Trust me, I have 36 years of experience.

It's probably pronounced "huke me" where huke rhymes with nuke.  I know, what a party pooper. [:)]

I was staying in a hotel in Osan Korea on liberty. There was a lamp on the night stand with a sticker that said in english " Mfg. by Yoo Suk lamp company" I thought that was funny. I also was in a hotel in Hiroshima, Japan and I noticed a sticker on the toilet that was written in Japanese with a stick figure on it. It was instructions on how to use the western style toilet. That was in 1984 and I still have the sticker. I bet the floor of that bathroom is covered with piss and shit by now for lack of proper instructions.

BTW from my experience with the Japanese language (2yrs in Japan) My guess is, it's pronounced just the way we think it is.
