The reason they make these polls is to get your email and sell it to major corporations, if this was a government site or a big news site maybe it would be different, but this is just a scam for the all mighty $.

Polls are used to find the peoples position on matters. If you vote more than once you will never know the truth of the matter. I would rather know the truth of the matter. Polls are not about winning. Polls are an attempt to gain knowledge. I would rather my position on this poll be in the minority honestly than be in the majority dishonestly. If you think this poll is about gaining knowledge, think again.
It's an unscientific, statistically meaningless opinion survey designed, as stated above, to gather e-mail addresses. No mention of who was taking the sample or for what purposes as a REAL survey/poll would do. Issues of honesty aside, cheating on this bogus poll can neither enhance nor harm its valueless results. |

Should it be legal to sell firearms over the Internet? It is already illegal to sell firearms over the Internet except for dealer to dealer. What the hell do they think an FFL is doing when he receives the firearm, runs a Brady background check, holds it for the cooling down period then hands the firearm over? I call that a sale though a dealer... not the Internet. When I buy a DVD from Amazon.com it comes to my house, my money goes to them - that's a sale though the Internet. Do I have this wrong? What they might be asking is should it be legal to market firearms over the Internet? |

This poll is typical, for example, if the BATF
surveyed 150 "Professional Hunting Guides" for "public" feedback on the upcoming vote on the 1994 "Gun Control Act" and asked "How many of the hunters that they guided used the AK-47 to hunt game with"?. Of course not many hunters actually hunt game with one so obviously that left only one answer. |

People do believe that. I have argued with people over this very subject. They log on to GunsAmerica and see guns for sale. IGNORANCE. We are gonna lose on this subject, too. Great, kids can buy guns on the internet? We better ban that!
