Great review sir, thanks!

Where did you buy it and approximately how much $$$?

I wonder how much it would be in this config:

...the second magazine <usgi 30rnd> began to have problems with 8 rounds not chmabering properly. i inormally only neck size my reloads and a quick inspection revealed this was the problem as this pistol appears to have a bit tighter chamber than my ar15's. Switching to factory ammo solved the problem. The next 250 rounds rand fine with zero failures.

What are you doing only neck sizing rounds that are going into a semi-auto? Handloads that are intended to be used in a semi-auto gun should ALWAYS be full-length resized.

Really, neck-sizing rounds is for a bolt gun - the same bolt gun.

thanks for that deep thought

I was afraid that came out wrong.

What I meant is if they sell them with all the accessories already attached, I'm on it "like stink on shit".

Oh yes, it will be mine.

It is a pistol, by design & by legal definition.  Whether "Johnny Law" (or , here, "Bubba Law") would "consider" it a pistol or not may be another matter entirely...

IOW, rap, ride, you know the drill.

There should be a rule about posts that include "Range Report" in the title. I keep clicking on them, and they're all about some guy taking stupid new gun somewhere and shooting it. Big whoop.

I know a Range Report. I've read a Range Report. This, Sir, is no "Range Report!"

I can't believe no one has yet asked what the best self defense round would be for such a pistol.

What did you run into it with?

One time, I saw this guy at the range shooting a KelTec P-3AT just like the one I have, except his had one after the other FTEs and FTFs.  I thought he got one of those 'lemons' I periodically read about having FTF & FTE problems.  I asked him if I could take a few shots with it and no problem.  Then he took some shots and the problems came back.  Then I took some and no problems.  Guess what the problem was?

Limp wrist.

Sorry bud, that there is a baby-killing assault pistol here in our fair state:

(c) a semiautomatic pistol that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least two of the following characteristics: (i) an ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip; (ii) a threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or silencer; (iii) a shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel and that permits the shooter to hold the firearm with the non-trigger hand without being burned; (iv) a manufactured weight of fifty ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded;

Wouldn't a foreward grip make it an AOW?
Or did they change their mind about that?

I'm glad to hear it works as advertised.

Now, if someone could just convince me they are good for something ("fun" doesn't count), I will also be all over one like stink on shit.

Home defense?

Trunk gun?

Oh, but it's so close ;)  I wonder if permanently attaching a thread protector or grinding off the threads would get rid of one of the evil features. Then it would just be the weight that causes the problem. The thing is only 1 ounce over. You could easily find that amount of weight and eliminate it somewhere, but I suppose the "manufactured weight" statement precludes drilling holes in the thing. I wonder if Kel-tec would make one a hair lighter without the threads. They seem to have a history of accomodating the ban states with the SU-16 series.
