[There is a huge difference between looking at a website and posting. Sure I will contiue to use ar15.com But a lot of the members here do a disservice to the fight to retain our gun rights. While I agree that perhaps we do things, say things, or post things which may in fact make us look bad, in the end we're as human as the next guy.
I try not to trample on people's opinions or thoughts when possible and have simply asked that a few over the top rules be followed. The majority of the people here come here to discuss everything from politics, to guns, to how to get a date... Why? Because to them this is a group they can associate with. They share common interests, thoughts, backgrounds, etc. It's much like a large family... sure we have dysfunctional relatives, but we still love them! (Ok maybe not some of them like MMK and Campy! JUST KIDDING!!! OMFG I LOVE YOU BOTH!) The point is where do we draw the line on what is right and what is wrong. Where do we draw the line on what is "protective" and what is "stifling." I think with no racism, no porn, no threats, and no flamefests we're covering what is needed to keep trolls out and quality conversations in. Everyone has their opinion on what is right, what is wrong, and where the lines should be, but learning to accept each other and our diversity is much more important in a unified front of zombies. -- GB |

I respect your opinions, but you are wrong about garandman. Yes he is a religious person and not afraid to show it, but he hasn't moderated based on those principles. The original poster started a topic "I'm a whiny baby who isn't going to buy the LEGP because of the Babe Of The Day" thread. Never mind that the LEGP has been available for MONTHS and the topic is barely a week old. Logic doesn't apply to crybabies. Long story short, everyone INCLUDING GARANDMAN told this idiot where to get off if he doesn't approve. The poster probably reconsidered and deleted the topic to avoid further embarassment. Not such a bad idea. So bust Garandman, if and when HE does something wrong. But don't drag him out for past deeds when he did the right thing. He spoke his opinion, but stayed fair.
