hey that's a good idea, let's replace all radar cops with eletronic machines then at least we won't have those cops lying that we were speeding [}:D]

That will kinda skew the data from the SMART machine...
BTW the fastest radar clock I ever had was 147. A Pontiac Trans Am GTA. He didn't get caught needless to say.

I personally love those roadside speed  indicators, it's a great way to see how accurate/far off your speedometer really is.

Unofficialy of course I ,ahem, clocked my 2001 Nissan Maxima SE at 113mph just for fun...would have gone faster BUT it was a residential area!

I may be a cop but I haven't forgotten how to have fun too you know. I only break out the shield if I get caught and even then I give the uniformed officer TOTAL RESPECT. So far that total is one: coming home from work at around 5AM on a Sunday eastbound on the LIE. I was the only person on the highway, pretty easy for Nassau County Highway to clock me doing 90....

I hate it when guys badge me when I pull them over, they get all the ass chewing and profanity that I can't give the average motorist.

I've been stopped once, wasn't carrying my offduty so I didn't say shit, took my ticket and thanked the Officer.

Let me get this right...you're a cop and you're doing 113 in a residential zone...for fun...off duty.

Amazing....NYPD eh?...Amazing

My personal land speed record is 145mph on a Yamaha V-MAX just outside 29 Palms, CA. I ran out of balls before I ran out of throttle.

Of course, at that speed, a human hair in my lane would have shot me into the stratosphere.

I miss Superbike.
