I'll take being compared to Mr Rogers as a compliment. If everyone spread as much light in the world as he did, it'd be a better place.

The bullet holes in the sign is great. I love attention to little details like that. Are your cars that detailed? (Train cars)

Thanks. Most of the railcars are weathered. Actual detail level depends on the kit make.

I wish I had the money, patience, time, and space to have a train layout.

Keep the pictures coming.

It's ours (my son and I) and, yes, we do use DCC. Thanks for the positive comment.

Nice pike!  Thanks for the pic's

About a month ago a 4-6-6-4 "Challenger" was heading-up to Portland for a week or so on display and it ran through the crossing two blocks from my house......AWESOME.  About every steam freak in the little town I live in was there with camera's and the crew on the engine gave us plenty of horn.  It was great.

Wow, gorgeous stuff.  I had a layout years ago, so I've always admired quality models.  Every so often I pick up a Model Railroader magazine and leaf through it.

Awesome! With all the negative press UP gets amoung the model railroad crowd, I still love em. They do alot to promote rail history (and their image) by the steam program. Now, they're doing fallen flag paint schemes on their "heritage series" locos to honor historic RR's that are now part of the UP system.
