I'm looking to buy a Bushmaster AR-15 very soon, and I need some honest opinions. If you guys were about to shell out $800, would you buy a 16 in. XM15 E2S M4 Type carbine, or a 16 in. XM15 E2S Dissipator? I want to the know the differences between these rifles, and whether there are really any benefits to the M4 Type over the Dissipator other than good looks...

Thanks and best regards...

Cruise,
I have a BM Dissipator.  I like it.  Short overall but still have the long sight radius.  I have even used it in a couple of service rifle matches and shot sharpshooter and expert.  I would recommend.  Although I am considering selling my upper and getting a competition upper for some serious match shooting.  You will like your dissipator.
