Around here, it's common knowledge that small vermin carry disease. Bubonic plague, Hantavirus, Lyme Disease. That's also why we like to feed them Nosler ballistic tips.

Get it down here in Los Angeles too. Closed a local park for 8 weeks last year.

It's the damn praire dogs around here.
And all the treehuggers always complain about the trapping and poisoning of the little buggers. |

It's no surprise, since Chipmunks are nothing more than bushy tailed wood Rats... with an attitude!

hantavirus comes from dried mouse piss
lyme disease from ticks on deer mice bubonic plague from fleas on squirrels, P dogs, gophers etc there is plague epidemics in areas with rodents, the plague from rats AKA black death caused the deaths in europe way back when |

I believe that a small number of people die from bubonic plague every year in the U.S. It's been in the U.S. since 1899 apparently, when it entered San Francisco.
According to the CDC, an average of 10 to 15 people get bubonic plague in the U.S. every year! Tell that to people when they try to tell you it would be a huge disaster if someone in the US ever got bubonic plague. |

If you go to Disney, be careful, there's a couple of big suckers there. They go by the names of Chip and Dale. If you caught the plague off of them, you'd probably die instantly.
