Things are beginning to be a little more "civilized" here on our part of the Gulf Coast.  Today I spent 3 hours in 1/2 mile long line to buy gasoline.  This is the same wherever you go down here and find a gas station open.

I purchased another generator (my son's damn dogs ate the one I loaned him-- the little bastards) and delivered it to him.  Naturally, power restored this evening (9/1) but I'm not complaining one bit.

While in line for gas and the generator I heard all kinds of depressing, sad stories from Louisiana and Mississippi refugees.  Most have lost love ones, their homes and possessions.  I wish there was a clearing house around here to make donations of food, clothes, money, water, etc. to help them.  I have personally never seen such human suffering and tragedy before.

Myself and family have been truly blessed.  Thank you Lord Jesus for sparing us and sparing us from what the other victims have suffered and what they are all going to have to endure for several more weeks/months.

If ya'll get a chance and want to really do something worthwhile, give of your time/money and help them out (I'm not talking about the shitbirds looting in N.O..  Everyone isn't like that).

Thanks for the word about Mobile. Was there very much damage there?

God bless you and yours.
