I take a stab and guess it will make a 15% jump at the pump within the next 72 hours.

With oil futures blasting through $70 and
a large hunk of the domestic oil refining and transport capability of the US about to be obliterated, I'd say "affect" is a bit of an understatement. |

I agree there is going to be a short term spike. $70 a barrel and then it will slide some after Labor day.

Yes it will! There is alot of oil and chemical infrastucture in that area! Used to pick up alot of plastic resin from there. At nite,the sky glows from all the refineries and chemical plants along the coast and rivers.

natural gas is currently trading up $1.97 from fridays close. 4 of the next 7 months are trading over $12.
3 yrs ago, nat gas was at $3-4/ MMBTU It's already getting ugly. TXL |

I just filled up my truck (in case). $83.00
 at $2.65. I bet it hits $3.50 by Labor Day.

Screw the fucking gas prices!!! A lot of folks are going to lose homes and businesses,loss of income ,loss of life..You guys are worried about fucking gas prices!!!
