Sheehan is a good example. So is Byrd from WV. The man was a KKK member, for crying out loud. Trent Lott says that Strom Thurmond should have been president, and everyone calls him a racist. Since the Ranch is only about 15 min. from here the local news is all over this. I have really admired the parents of fallen soldiers showing up and removing their child's cross from the roadside because the peace-twits didn't ask for permission to use their names. Unfortunately, as soon as the parent removes their child's cross, a peace-twit replaces it against the parent's wishes. Some guy has been out there 4 times now to get his son's cross.

I have to believe that her family knew all about these past antics of hers, and that's why they wrote the letter asking her to come home. They're probably aware of all the nutty things she's said in public and know full well that the longer she spent under scrutiny, the greater the chances were that all her public ramblings would be made known (there may be even more yet to surface). I'll bet that family's next reunion will be a tough one.
