Saw a 5 second blurb tonight after the CBS evening news but didn't catch it as my attention was diverted to something else.

Yeah,

I saw some drivel about a "popular deer hunting rifle"  having some safety problems, but couldn't tell what it was (bolt action).

I smell a bullshit attack coming on form CBS.

It is on the Rem 700 safety - they did a story about 8 mo ago.  It's a follow up on how the Gov aren't doing anything about it.

Oh god!   That's what it's about?    I hope these people rot in hell, I really do!



God, I remember that article they had back about 8 months ago.   And you know what?   I remember a similar report they did on basically the same thing back about 4-5 years ago too!

Talk about the proverbial dog that won't leave the ball alone!   Remington better stick to their guns(so to speak), the 700 is pretty much their bread winner so let's all hope they less willing to give into these folks.
