You have to feel sorry for his probation officer.

I give him 90 days before he is arrested again.

I don't get it.  Why is he a waste of humanity?  Who has he hurt?  Why would you throw him into the same category as serial killers, rapists, and other violent goons?  The guy is a screwed up moron, but there are lots and lots and lots of screwed morons everywhere.  Doesn't mean they all belong in jail.  I'll be Downey has never taken one single time of public assistance money (welfare).  Would you lock up a functioning alcoholic?  That would mean locking up most of our elected reps.

I don't give a rat's ass how much cocaine Bobby the Binger does. As long as he doesn't drive or try to give that stuff to any kids, he can sit at home and kill himself with that shit for all I care. [sleep]

Just put him in ''jail'' in the evidence room with a needle,a soda straw, and a pipe, and he will do himself in and we won't have to hear about him on the news any more!

First, I think the 'war on drugs' is a joke and is costing all of us some of our liberties.  What does bother me is that an habitual offender keeps getting off and law abiding gun owners are regularly harassed and even arrested in Kali.

Who cares about him. Let him destroy himself. Why waste teax payers money to save some rich Hollywood white boy from himself? Let's use the police and courts to fight real criminals. The drug war is ridiculous and a wate of time.

It appears that Robert Downey's part in the movie 'Less Than Zero' wasn't much of a stretch of his acting abilities.

Maybe someone should tell him that, not only did he get the part, the movie has already been shot, released, and on video for years now. He still, apparently, thinks he's auditioning for the part.

Well, I think he has been given too many damn chances.  They need to put his stupid ass in lock up for a while.  He's been given chance after chance after chance and still continues to blow it.  What a loser!!!!!!

What good is putting a tax paying individual in jail going to do? It's one thing to pay taxes to warehouse violent offenders but I really don't give a damn if he sits in a hotel room and frys his own brain cells. At least in rehab he is paying his own bills and still be productive in the work force (i.e. pay taxes to jail more destructive losers).

It's real simple...if we all else have to abide by the same laws and rules then why should he got so many chances just because he is a well known actor.  Anybody else and he would be in jail.
