Since I had a number of requests for these for some time, I decided to add several new forums. Both forums are available in the General section of the site.
Cars & Bikes Business & Investing Religion Survival Equipment (in EE) While I am putting this notice up, there's a decent size update to the site which will take place as early as tonight. (Otherwise sometime this week.) This upgrade will include the following: Light version of site for mobile users and for times the site just loads slow for you. - Will be READ ONLY for now. - Has ZERO graphics on pages - Page size will adjust for different sized portable devices - Will be made available to everyone Completely retooled subscription system. - Limits raised to 250/100 for guests/team respectively. - A single email notice will be sent per subscribed thread until it's revisited. (Cut back on email loads.) - Checkboxes for multiple delete selection. (Select all button for quick cleaning up!) More Timezones added for our brothers overseas. - European & Austrailian timezones added - At this time you will need to change the TZ to Summer Time manually. (This will be automated in the near future, but I wanted to rush this out to you guys!) Moved thread updates. - Threads moved across communities will now leave the original message with an updated title and a link to the new thread. (This way bookmarks will always work for threads which were moved.) - Move page also upgraded for mods/staff to work a lot easier. New forum toolbar buttons. - To replace these hard to read gray with black buttons. (Lighter gray gradient behind buttons.) Front page news items linked to News Forum. - Ok no big deal, but I wanted any posts made to the front page of the site to be repeated in the news forum in the General section of the site. This way people can discuss items shared on the homepage easily. As always there's a lot of little things, fixes here and there, and improvements to the database scripts. Recently there was a problem with the search breaking and that was due to the server not cleaning itself up properly. The log problem should be fixed and we shouldn't see that problem again. Thanks for all the hard work recently. The site is looking incredible, and the add'l forum sections should be popular and beneficial. Please don't let beekeeper go overboard with kicking every single religious question out of GD, and locking accounts, and whatnot.

Ah, but the vast majority of the membership here do NOT view the site as a place to recruit new Christians. If it happens, fine, but I'm sure you can agree the hostility and flat-out unseemly pissing matches have detracted from the site to a much greater degree than whatever few have "gotten saved" or "found God" by visiting this site. I've never posted this, but I've been outraged by it for a couple of months now: One of the vocal "Christians" here referred to one of our ladies as "a whore" because she dared to post publicly that she is "living in sin" with her boyfriend. She didn't seem highly motivated to join up for some reason. That kind of lunacy has no place here. Perhaps this will keep the serious religious discussions in a place where people who seek them can go, and will allow us to keep the sanctimonious rants under control.

And I didn't realize you were an expert on my religion anyways, since you don't believe and all. My point all along was that it was been the non-religious people here that have often caused the most problems and are the most disrespectful. Usually when they try to tell us what we should and should not be doing based on what they THINK our religion is all about. Not the other way around.
